BERENBAUM WEINSHIENK PC's 40 plus attorneys operate from a single office at 370 17th Street in downtown Denver. Our clients range from individuals and start-up enterprises to leading Denver-area companies, large national businesses, and international firms. Among our clients are well-known banks and mortgage companies, real estate developers, retailers, entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, and publicly-traded corporations. In addition to our broad-based transactional practice, B|W has a large litigation department. These two groups complement and assist each other in providing a full range of legal services to business clients and individuals.
Our client relations are grounded in personal relationships. There is a high degree of trust, respect, and, quite often, friendship in the relationships between our attorneys and our clients. With larger clients, there is often more than one attorney assigned to the work, but the client can count on getting prompt answers to questions and prompt attention by calling the lead attorney. Unlike many other Denver firms of its size, a high percentage of our attorneys are shareholders, and new attorneys are added with the expectation that they will also share in ownership. There is an atmosphere of teamwork among the lawyers at B|W.
Our practice areas include bankruptcy, business transactions, employee benefits, the environment, estate planning, exempt organizations, financial institutions, health care, intellectual property and technology, litigation and dispute resolution, real estate, securities and tax. While the firm is organized into different departments or practice groups, many attorneys practice in several different areas and can provide a broader range of advice to clients than more specialized practitioners.
We are extremely proud to be a member of Lawyers Associated Worldwide, an association of independent law firms from nearly 60 countries located in over 150 major commercial areas throughout the world. Membership in LAW allows us to service the legal needs of our clients that are expanding their operations and relationships into new domestic and foreign markets because of the increasing globalization of the business world. Members of LAW are among the most prominent law firms in their respective jurisdictions, with both commercial and litigation practices that are geared to middle-market clients.
