Brunini, Grantham, Grower & Hewes was founded more than one century ago. Since its inception, the Brunini Firm has grown into one of Mississippi's largest and most respected law firms. The Firm's clientele consists primarily of business corporations and includes a number of Fortune 500 companies.

The Firm's regulatory practice includes an extensive environmental practice; representation of a broad range of energy clients, including corporations engaged in the development, transportation, and sale of natural resources and electricity; a comprehensive health care practice representing hospitals, nursing homes, physicians groups and other health care providers; representation of public utilities, including providers of telecommunications services, electricity, and natural gas as well as other parties in proceedings before the Mississippi Public Service Commission; and governmental relations, including legislative advocacy. In addition, the Firm represents casinos, casino developers and related businesses in the gaming industry. Members of the Firm's regulatory department frequently appear before state and federal administrative agencies.

Attorneys in the Firm's commercial department provide expertise in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, public and industrial development financing and tax incentives, securities regulation, banking, real estate transactions, insurance regulation, syndication, estate planning, and corporate and personal taxation. in addition, we represent media and commercial clients in the defense of defamation actions, first amendment issues and matters relating to advertising, circulation and related issues.
